鮑氏不動桿菌為格蘭氏陰性,非葡萄糖發酵,成球狀或桿狀,為院內感染常見的細菌,可造成菌血症、肺炎、傷口感染、泌尿道感染等,一般對於常用抗生素皆抗藥,且可快速獲得新抗藥能力。其carbapenem抗藥率也逐年上升。偶有社區型感染,但多是在免疫有問題的宿主身上。
